After looking pregnant for 3 years and being in pain, I found Dr Schlechter. I had my consultation and was told I had an umbilical hernia and diastasis recti. I was not promised a completely flat stomach but better than what I had now. I also had breast augmentation. I wasn’t allowed to leave until all my questions and concerns were answered, and was told anything I thought of I could call anytime. I went in for my surgery and everything went great. I was home 6 hours later with absolutely no pain. I’m 49 years old and 6 weeks out from my surgery and have not taken a pain pill yet. My stomach even with the swelling is almost completely flat , my breast augmentation was great I didn’t even realize it was done until I looked down. My post op care is on point. I’m back to work finally able to eat and have no pain like before my surgery. My weight has declined from almost 175 lbs to about 140 due to slight swelling which is part of the healing process. Most importantly to me was I did not need any drugs for pain and listened to Dr Schlechter completely on instructions. The healing process is lengthy but well worth the final results.
