After the procedure is complete, bandages will be placed on the incisions. A compression garment may be applied to the area treated with liposuction to reduce swelling and bruising. Most patients can return to work within a few days, but patients should avoid performing any strenuous activity or exercise for the first few weeks.

The exact length of time until your final results become apparent will depend on the amount of fat removed, which areas are treated, and how quickly your body heals. Unlike injectable fillers that offer only temporary results, results from fat transfer are permanent. The fat cells removed with AquaShape® are permanently removed from the body and will not grow back. However, since the body will naturally absorb some of the injected fat cells, multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired results. After the body absorbs what it will of the injected fat cells, the enhanced volume will remain permanent. A healthy diet and exercise will help maintain the best results.

On average, breast augmentation with fat transfer can increase the size of the breasts about one cup size.
